He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Stern and Erna Stern (Pfahl); his sister Beverley; and his brother-in-law Gary McKoen. He is survived by: his spouse Kelly Stern; his daughters, Sherry Stern and Becky Moore (Gary); his granddaughter Clementine Moore; and his siblings, Deanna McCaw (Neil), Rhonda Freeman (Dave) and Calvin Stern (Eveline). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
