He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Sleep and Greta Sleep; his brother Glendon Blaine Sleep; and his former wife Stella Sleep (Paterson). He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Wood, Saint John and Stacy Sleep; his grandchildren, Brandy, Kristie, Ryan, Rick, Cody and Meagan; and his great grandchildren, Caelan and Macie.
