He was predeceased by: his wife Viola Léger (Brun); his parents, Alyre Léger and Elise Léger (Cormier); his siblings, Melanie, Mina, Bertha, Cyrille, Telex, Pierre, Armand, Elzée, Ulric and Elisée; his daughter-in-law Ida; and his close friend Dorice LeBlanc.

He is survived by: his children, Anise Léger of Cocagne, Ginette Cormier (Michel) of Cocagne, Stella Bourque (Jean-Guy) of Saint-Marcel, Normand (Carmella) of Moncton, Omer (Francine) of Cocagne, Raymond of Cocagne, Alyre (Alice) of Grande-Digue and Claude (Gisèle) of Dartmouth; and his sisters, Aurea Belliveau (late Victor) of Saint-Paul, Anna Despres (late Ulric) of Lynn, MA and Ann LeBlanc (late Ovila) of Saint-Antoine. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
