Leonard Pothier wrote a sympathy message

“So sorry to hear of Alfred's passing. We worked together in the early 50's, he would pick me up on his motorcycle & we would be off to work, He taught me a lot of different things...such as how to mix cement for a chimney & we worked together on the community hall in St. Andre Leblanc...we did a lot of different restorations back in the day.. He was a good friend & smart man. Lots of good times to remember & knowing he will be sadly missed by his family. Leonard Pothier& family”
