He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Jones and Maud Jones of Clairville; and his siblings, Allan, Jimmy Jones (Lilian) and Barbara Lutes (Wayne).

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jones (Fraser); his son Dwayne (Angela); his grandson Elijah; his children, Pamela Jones (Jason Price), Alex, Cassidy Price and Tucker; his grandchildren, Cameron and Jessica MacIntyre; and his brothers, Carle (Helen), Ron (Mae) and Billie (Maureen). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the local SPCA animal shelter or St. Matthews Clairville United Church cemetery fund.
