Winnifred M. Yates Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winnifred M. Yates (Chipman, New Brunswick), born in Anfield, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Water Chappel and Grace Chappel (Burgoyne); her husband Leonard Yates; her son Butch; and her siblings, Katherine, Glenna, Marie, Lorna, Stanley and Stephen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila MacIssac (Jim), Rose Hauser (Dave) and Debbie LeBlanc (Paul); her grandchildren, Alanna, Rodney, Rhonda, Dwayne, Tania, Melissa and Lenore; her siblings, Phyllis, Malcolm, Douglas, Kenneth and David; and her close friend Val Labourque. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Winnie made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
