He was predeceased by: his parents, Orland Fidler and Ida Fidler (MaCafee); his sons, Joel and Kevin; and his siblings, Vance Fidler, Geraldine and Carol.

He is survived by: his wife Lorna Fidler (Ward); his children, Kathryn, Bryant (Debbie) and Bruce (Anna Clark); and his siblings, Lynwood (Grace Ann) and Judy Clarke. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
