She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hare and Kathleen Glenn (Walter); her brother Osbourne Hare; her daughter-in-law Jennifer; and her siblings-in-law, Dora, Mary, Bruce, Benny, Bill and Carl.

She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Gary (Julie), Barry (Susan) and Cora-Lee (Ross); her grandchildren, Colin Armstrong (Amelie), Dr. Chelsie Armstrong (Bill), Derek Galbraith (Lowell), Kristen Parkhill (Ben) and Michael Parkhill (Josi); her great grandchildren, Isaac, Eve, Anders and Olive; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Hare, Roberta Armstrong and Maridel Green; and her cousin Joyce McKillop. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
