He was predeceased by: his parents, Campbell MacDonald and Elizabeth MacDonald (Seiferling); his sister Sandy MacDonald; and his granddaughter Paige Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Matthew MacDonald (Alicia), Rebecca King and Allison MacDonald; his grandchildren, Joshua, Aiden, Ryker, Chloe, Sailor, Danika and Lainey; and his siblings, Hugh MacDonald (Sue), Joan MacDonald (Jim Anderson) and Bette Nolan (Gerry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the DECH in memory of Michael would be appreciated by his family.
