He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Boyd and Tilly Boyd of Chipman, N. B.; his son Quentin Boyd; and his siblings, Russell Boyd, Willard Boyd (Marion) and Connie Boyd.

He is survived by: his family Sherry; his pet Breyer; his wife Sherry Boyd (Fletcher); his stepsons, Corey Price (Joan), Craig Price (Neda) and Mitchell Price (Christina); his grandchildren, Hannah Leivdal (John), Noah Ashford, Emma Price, Kennedy, Carter Boyd, Aria, Alexander Price, Spencer and Sydney Morrison; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Gwendolyn Leivdal; his siblings, Clayton Boyd (Donna), Merlene McLellan (Sonny) and Rhetta Boyd; and his sister-in-law Esther Boyd.
