With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Derek Michael Barton (Chipman, New Brunswick), born in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on June 21, 2023 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Barton and Janet Barton (Knox); his children, Dylan and Sophia; his sister Roxanne Barton; his niece Chloe; his nephew Jackson; his grandmother Myrna Leger; his close friend Nick Barnett; and his grandparents, Angus Knox and Helen Barton.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Derek made to the Kidney Foundation or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
