He was predeceased by: his father Winston; his siblings, Elizabeth and Pat; his sister-in-law Kim; and his grandson Damon.

He is survived by: his wife Karylann; his children, Stephanie Palmer (Mikey Bear), James Palmer (Janine Gesner) and Chris Palmer; his grandchildren, Mya, Lydia, Cierra, Carson, Elias, Parker, Elara, Asher, Amara and Malia; his mother Margret MacPherson (Ken); his siblings, Robert MacPherson and Maria MacPherson (Tracy); and his sister-in-law Anne Babineau.
