It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Lou Austin (Chipman, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Porter Smith and Thelma Smith (Degrasse); and her brother Leonard. She is survived by: her husband Glenn; her daughters, Victoria Blanchard (Darcy) and Hope Elson (Tyrone); her sisters, Linda Seguin and Carol Kennedy (Joe); her grandchildren, Tommy Blanchard (Britaney), Gabriel, Tristan, Lukas Elson, Brock, Mattie and Ellie Ross; her great grandchildren, Shay and Blair Blanchard; and also Merridith Ross (Ryan). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chipman Funeral Home & Crematorium (28 Northrup Dr, Chipman, NB E4A2P7). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Cumberland Bay Baptist Church (3 Cumberland Bay South Rd, Cumberland Bay, NB E4A2W9).
