He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Buchanan and Florence Buchanan; and his brothers, Bruce and Dana Buchanan. He is survived by: his close friend Angela Perley; his daughter Janis Buchanan; and his siblings, Blake Buchanan, Leigh Buchanan (Carol) and James Buchanan.
