It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evans MacDonald of Centreville, New Brunswick, born in Kilburn, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 24, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert MacDonald and Pearl MacDonald (Grant); his wives, Kathleen, Joanne and Irene; his son-in-law Tom DeMerchant; and his siblings, Amanda, Freda, Kenneth, Fern, Phyllis, Gordon, Muriel, Fred, Jean and Malcolm.
He is survived by: his children, Terry MacDonald (Ruth), Larry MacDonald (Patricia), Charles MacDonald (Peggy), Cindy DeMerchant and Shawn York (Mitchell); his stepchildren, Norma Hitchcock (Ronald), Linda DeMerchant (Paul), Gail McDougall, Barbara Kierstead (Raymond) and Patricia Bennett (David); and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Hunter, Eldon Lewis, Ferne Rideout and Valerie Budrow. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.
