He was predeceased by: his parents, John Christie and Nellie Christie (McElwain). He is survived by: his children, Mistie Christie of Keswick, NB, Melissa Christie Carson (Jamie) of Keswick, NB and Dean Christie Jr. of Keswick, NB; his granddaughter Ashlee Raine Carson; the mother of his children Gayle Brawn of Keswick, NB; his siblings, Charlene Christie of Fredericton, NB, James Christie (Raylene), John Christie (Bonnie), Curtis Christie (Mary Ann), Dennis Christie (Lise), Burtts Corner and Keith Christie (Heather); his stepmother Kathleen Christie of Temperance Vale, NB; his aunts, Vesta Thornton, Roselle Christie and Gwen Christie; his uncle Fred Christie (Alta); his granddaughter Mistie Christie; and also Rodney Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
