She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Charters (McDermott) and William Charters; her brother Jarett McDermott; her son Troy Charters; and her grandchildren, Starla and Dustin Charters.

She is survived by: her husband Brian Underwood; her children, Fred (Kari), Pam (Charlie), Jeffery (Crystal) and Holly (Trenton); her daughter-in-law Lori (Jim); her siblings, Allan Thompson (Sheila), Debbie Myles, Nora Stewart (John), Valerie Stokes (Tony), Leonard Charters (Danette) and Adam Charters (Jill); and her grandsons, Shawn, Bradley, Spencer, Riley, Avery, Cody, Jameson and Zackary. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
