It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Renate Kunigunde Knappe (Central Blissville, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Friedrich (Hepp) and Johann Friedrich; her husband Rudolf Knappe; and her siblings, Edelgund Wittal, Gudrun Kolley, Edeltraud Lux, Jurgen, Rainer, Gunter, Udo, Frank and Armin Friedrich.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Fowler (Rockland), Manfred Knappe (Lori), Richard Knappe (Donna) and Angela Knappe (Helmut). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Renate's memory to the Tracy United Baptist Church or to the Tracy United Baptist Church Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
