He was predeceased by: his parent Cora MacGougan; his son Stephen MacGougan; his parents-in-law, Evelyn and Gerald; and his brother-in-law Murray Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Peggy MacDonald (Eldon) and Nicole Rice; his grandchildren, Dakota, Shelby, Cayden, Alex and Kyler; his siblings-in-law, William, Elaine, Elizabeth, Jean-Claude, Heather, Loran, Nelda, Russel Kelly and Charlie Duplisea; and his cousins, Laverne and Rose.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Wirral Cemetery or the Wirral Community Association.
