He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennie Hoyt (Lunnen) and Bayard Hoyt; his wife Joan Hoyt (Garrett); his daughter Linda Jones (Hoyt); and his siblings, Euginia Boudreau, Scovil and Elliot Hoyt.
He is survived by: his sons, Alec (Evelyn), Brian (Myra), Jeffery (Rhonda) and James Hoyt (Yvette). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Sunbury Funeral Home (5407 NB-101, Central Blissville, NB E5L). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations made to the Canadian Cancer Association in Jim's name.
