He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Kirkpatrick and Mary Redstone (Johnston Kirkpatrick); his wife Lillian Kirkpatrick; his daughter Marlene Gillet; his brother Edward; his sister-in-law Evelyn Kirkpatrick; and his stepfather Fred Redstone.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Raymond Gillet (Betty); his stepson George Ferguson (Debbie); his grandsons, Russell (Amy), Adam (Vicki) and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Allison, Alexander and Abigail. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
The family would appreciate donations in Howard's name to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care or the Alzheimer's Association.
