She was predeceased by: her parents, Hector Hartlen and Eleanor Hartlen (Fancy); and her sister Dale Carmichael (Mickey). She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Trevor (Rebecca) and Roxanne (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Brooke, Sierra, Thomas, Nevaeh and Ellie; her sisters, Angela (Brent) and Katrina (John); her niece Kadie; and her great-niece Kalah.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in April's memory to the SPCA or to Hospice House.
