He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Grant and Dora Grant (Briggs); and his siblings, Anna, Grace, Isabell, Frances, Ruth, Levi, Harley, Fred, Douglas and Elwood.

He is survived by: his wife Edith (Kinney); his grandson Peter Grant (Doreen); and his sisters, Joan, Lila, Amy and Ida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
