He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Pelkey and Ines Pelkey (Turner); his former wife Laura Pelkey; and his daughters, Nancy Murchison and Laurie Pelkey.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Lawrence; his children, Hazel Clark (Jeff) of Carlingford, NB, Mark Pelkey (Dora), Brent Pelkey (Penny) and Randy Pelkey of Carlingford, NB; and his siblings, Vera Sullivan of Perth-Andover, NB, Edward Pelkey (Marie) of Fredericton, NB, Dale Pelkey (Georgia) of Four Falls, NB, Jim Pelkey (Dorothy) of Perth-Andover, NB, Murray Pelkey (Susan) of Hamilton, ON, Gary Pelkey (Linda) of Perth-Andover, NB, Donald Pelkey (Debbie) of Perth-Andover, NB and Graydon Pelkey of Perth-Andover, NB. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
