He was predeceased by: his parents, François Léger and Arznie Léger (Doiron); and his siblings, Alice, Camille, Laurie, Nazaire, Ubald, Gilles, Willie and François.

He is survived by: his wife Lorette (LeBlanc); his son Daniel of Moncton; and his grandson Dayan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
