Marita Ellen Grant Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2023, at the age of 96, Marita Ellen Grant of Canterbury, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Paradis and Pearl Paradis (West); her husband William S. Grant; her children, Violet Mae Grant and William Charles Grant; and her siblings, Mary, Julia, Dorothy, Alfreda, Veronica, Joseph, Leonard, Steven, Peter Anthony, Alfred, Foster and Roderick.

She is survived by: her son Gary (Sharol) of Canterbury; her sisters, Charlene Carmichael of Alberta and Adelaide Cormier; her children-in-law, Sheila Grant of Canterbury and Garvice Gesner of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Benjamín Grant (Christie), Grant Gesner (Janice), Geordie Gesner, Alisha Grant, Thomas Grant (Erin) and Jillian Manuel (Mark) of Canterbury; her great grandchildren, Brandon Grant (Tiffany), Drew Grant, Alexander Manuel, Max Manuel, Joshua Manuel, Grace Gesner, Nolan Gesner, Eric Gesner, Matthew Gesner, Kate Grant and Matthew Faulkner; and her great great grandchild Lincoln Grant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
