He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Thorne and Anna "Marie" Thorne (Kingston); his brother Edward Thorne; and his sister-in-law Barbara Thorne. He is survived by: his siblings, Clifton Thorne (Deannie), Ramona Vance (Gary) of St, Bobby Thorne (Belinda), Mary Young (Roger), Joseph Thorne (Debbie), Patricia Frost (Mort) of St and Christopher Thorne (Brenda); his sister-in-law Nancy Thorne; his nieces and nephews, Jimmy, Kevin, Christopher, Michael, Jamie, Judy, Janet, Joanne, Christa, Megan, Nicole, Sarah, Julie, Stephanie and Teena; and his close friends, Kevin MacDonald and Stacey Guitard.
