Theophile Gallant Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theophile Gallant (Campbellton, New Brunswick), born in Atholville, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lucienne (LaPlante); his daughter Bernice; his parents, Elie Gallant and Dina (Arseneault); and his siblings, Zita, Eugenie (Jannie), Delia, Leonie, Sylvere, Frank, Alfred and Normand.

He is survived by: his children, Jules Gallant (Petit-Rocher), Diane Gallant (Saint-Antoine) and Geraldine Bailey (Tide Head); his siblings, Ernest Atholville (Laura LeBlanc) and Marie Montreal (Fernand Levasseur); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Alex Chouinard, Jason, Shanelle, Marc-Anthony, Helena Gallant, Robert Saucier (Brandy), Patrick Bailey (Krista) and Jennifer Bailey Wyher (David). He is also survived by 14 great-grand-children.

A funeral mass will be held and announced at a later date due to current restrictions in place.

The family suggest sending memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
