She was predeceased by: her mother Edith Doucette; her sons, Lawrence and Stephen Bernard; and her sister Irene Doucet. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Myles (Lannie) of Campbellton, Jeannie Bernard (Donald) of Campbellton, Karen Parker (Johnny) of McLeods, Donnie Bernard of Campbellton, Eric Bernard of Campbellton, Chris Bernard (Wanita) of Ontario and Kevin Bernard (Felicia) of Campbellton; and her sister Gloria Malley. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
