He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Laviolette and Azanetta Laviolette (Leblanc); and his siblings, Estelle Boudreau (Pat), Diana Renault (Louis) and Conrad Laviolette.

He is survived by: his children, Shayne Laviolette (Shelley) of Keswick Ridge, NB, Chantal Laviolette Mann Edmonton (Troy) and Justin Laviolette (Lindsay); and the mother of his children Shirley Laviolette. He is also survived by six grand-children, 2 great-grand-children.
