In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Ian MacMillan and Barbara MacMillan. He is survived by: his wife Neno (Anna Boyle); his daughter Jacqueline (James Molony); his granddaughter Rory; and his sisters, Heather MacMillan, Gail Murray (Scott) and Dr. Jane Bondt (Philip). He is also survived by his best friend, main squeeze, the love of his life and best travel companion.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
