He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Harvey Barnaby Sr. and Hilda Mae Morrison; and his brother Galen Moon Barnaby. He is survived by: his children, Catlin Irvine and Jodie Callaghan Ashley (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Elijah, Waylon, Hank and Bonnie; and his siblings, Richard Ditchie Barnaby (Christine), Betty Ann Diabo (Christin), Karen Leclair (Frank) of Kahnawake, Sandra Barnaby (Stanley) and Stephanie Barnaby (Gilbert).
