He was predeceased by: his parents, Amanda Bernatchez and Edmond Diotte; and his siblings, Louis, Gerard, Raymond, Jeannine and Rose Marie.

He is survived by: his son Eric; and his siblings, Albert, Richard, André, Roger, George, Irene, Yvette, Thérèse and Nathalie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
