He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Jane Hamilton (Johnston) and Matthew Payne. He is survived by: his wife Judith Evelyne Irvine Johnston; his daughters, Cindy Kaye Burelle (Gary), Wendy Jane Ray (Craig), Shelly Ruth Johnston and Kilby Dawn Perron (Jean Paul); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Canel), Aaron, Chelsea (Dominic), Alexander, Joshua, William, Samuel, Isaac, Kyle and Tyler; his great grandchild Jordan; and his sisters, Karen, Myrna and Joan of Ontario. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
