She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Hamilton; her parents, Gilbert Després and Ida Després (Cormier); and her siblings, Alonzo (Noella), Leonide (Gerry), Ulric (Anna), Eugene, Irene Gallant (Edmond) and Ella Legere (George).

She is survived by: her children, Myra (Lisa) of Grand Falls, Richard Hamilton Jr. (Lisa) of California Settlement and Paul of California Settlement; her grandson Matthew of California Settlement; her brother Norman of Cormierville; her sister-in-law Anna of California; her sister Glenetta; her brother-in-law George O'Neil; her brother Thomas of California Settlement; and her sister-in-law Hilda Hamilton of California Settlement. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
