He is survived by: his wife Gloria Symes (Morton) of Fords Mills; his children, Melissa Saunders of Moncton, Petrina Symes (Danny) of Coal Branch, Rick Symes (Kim) of Fords Mills and Dan Symes (Alice) of Fords Mills; his siblings, Jeanice Betts (late Myles) of Ontario, Pearl Leclair-Hewitt (Don) of Maine, Jean Manship (Dave) of Riverview, Ruby Ranson of Saint John, Lennie Symes (Hilda) of South Branch, Vance Symes (late Linda) of Fords Mills, Steve Symes (Martha) of Moncton and Jeff Symes (Liz) of Fords Mills; and his sister-in-law Elsie Symes of Moncton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
