He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxime Richard and Yvonne Richard (Bastarache); and his siblings, Claudette, Joseph and Fred.
He is survived by: his siblings, Yolande LeBlanc (Paul-Emile) of Bouctouche, Lita Bourgeois (Gilles) of Saint-Paul, Léo of Moncton, Ronald of Saint-Antoine and Armand (Francine) of Saint-Norbert; and his brother-in-law Alderice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
