She was predeceased by: her spouse Ulric Nowlan; her parents, George Cormier and Sarah Cormier (Arsenault); and her siblings, Laura, Marguerite, Doris, Ronalda, Roger and Leonard.

She is survived by: her children, Viola Belliveau (Roger) of Pré, Majella Roy (Guy) of Dieppe, Paul of Saint-Antoine and Jean of Sainte-Marie; her granddaughter Marie-Josée; and her sisters, Bella Duplessis (late Gerald) of Bouctouche and Elizabeth Cormier Nowlan of Bouctouche. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
