She was predeceased by: her parents, Aimé Ruest and Florence Ruest (Rossignol); and her son Mathieu. She is survived by: her sons, Gérome (Michelle) of Grand Falls and Jean-Louis (Janie) of Sainte-Marie; her grandchildren, Matty, Gérome Jr., Sunny and Malik; and her siblings, Janice Ruest-Clavet of Saint-Jacques, Pauline Gagnon (Jean-Marie) of Grand Falls, Donald of Moncton, Raymond of Saint-Gregoire and Jean of Bouctouche. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
