We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Léona Allain (Bouctouche, New Brunswick). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Guy Allain; her parents, Adéric Saulnier and Hélène Saulnier (Hébert); and her siblings, Aldéa, Anita, Léa and Willie.
She is survived by: her children, Paul, Yvon, Gisèle Poirier (Robert), Jean-Marie (Wonda), Nicole of Bouctouche and Michelle Haché (Allain) of Notre-Dame; her grandchildren, Nathalie, Stéphanie, Lyne, Anike, Alexandre and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Alex, Dax and Olivier; and her sister Emelda Allain (late Roger). She is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Maillet Funeral Home (29 Rue de Léglise, Bouctouche, NB E4S2Z5). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, August 27th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church (153 Chem. du Couvent, Bouctouche, NB E4S3B8).
In memory of Léona, donations may be made to the Saint-Jean Baptiste Parish in Bouctouche.
