She was predeceased by: her parents, Mélas Collette and Alice Collette (LeBlanc); her son Jean-Paul; and her siblings, Lilianne, Cléophas, Bernard and Johnny.

She is survived by: her children, Anne-Alice Duplessis of Dieppe, Aurella Babineau (Louis) of Bouctouche, Andréa Cormier (Léo-Paul) of Saint-Maurice, Noëlla Cormier of Sainte-Anne, Hubert (Debbie-Ann), Jean-Louis of Bouctouche and Elie Bastarache; her grandchildren, Ella, Joceline, Stéphanie, Alban, Justin and Alexis; her great grandchildren, Max, Levi, Reid and Shari; and her siblings, Francine Mills (Hervé) of Bouctouche, Aubrey and Rhéal (Rosella) of Bouctouche. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In Jeannette's memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's society.
