He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Savoie and Annie Savoie (Saulnier); his son René; and his siblings, Jeanne, Yolande, Irene and Léonard.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Savoie (Bastarache) of Saint-Maurice; his children, Joanne Savoie (Roger) of Scoudouc, Daniel of Saint-Antoine and Adrien (Rose) of Bouctouche; his grandchildren, Rémi, Denis, Mathieu and Mélanie; and his siblings, Yvette Maillet (Livain) of Bouctouche, Clarence (Diana) of Doaktown and Adelard (Bernadette) of Grande-Digue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
