He is survived by: his children, Maria Bastarache-LeBlanc (Yvon), Marie-Thérèse Richard (Daniel) of Bouctouche, Marielle Surette (André) of Sainte-Marie, Maurice (Teresa) of Dieppe and Mark (Nancy) of Campbellton; the mother of his children Sophie Nowlan; his grandchildren, Jason, Gabriel, Mathieu, Felicia, Rachelle, Josée, Annie-Lyne, Pierre, Isabelle, Maxime, Joshua and Thomas; his great grandchild Marissa; and his sister Yvonne Bastarache of Montreal. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
