He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilmon Bastarache and Marie Bastarache (Bastarache); and his siblings, Bernice and Normand. He is survived by: his wife Andréa Bastarache (Poirier); his grandchildren, Denis of Bouctouche, Elmo Jr. (Gisèle) and Elda Bastarache (Maurice); his great grandchildren, Jérémie, Sylvie (Joël) and Stéphane (Rachel); and his siblings, Rose-Mai Guimond (Vernon) of Bouctouche, Fernande Henrie (Roger) of Gardner, MA, Jacqueline Jaillet (Raymond) of Saint-Edouard, Linda Allain (Danny) of Dieppe and Achille (Anne-Marie) of Bouctouche. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
The visitation and a funeral Mass will be held a later date due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
