He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurele Allain and Lydia Allain (Lecouteur); and his brother Gerard Allain. He is survived by: his wife Marguerite Allain (Dallaire); his daughter Marguerite; his granddaughters, Christine Frost of Grand Manan and Ethel Smith (Peter) of Bouctouche; his pet Buddy; and his siblings, Doris Kenney (Ed Corn) of Peterborough, ON, Jeannette Maillet of Sainte-Anne, Imelda Allain of Bouctouche, Gerald (Emilia) of Waltham, MA and Léo-Paul of Bouctouche. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In Bernard's memory, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Diabetes Association.
