He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Andréa LeBlanc (Collette); his parents, Marie LeBlanc (Arsenault) of Bouctouche and Elmo LeBlanc; his grandson André (Tracy) of Moncton; and his siblings, Emelda Daigle (Emile) of Richiboucto, Bélina Guimond of Bouctouche, Marie-Mai LeBlanc (Fidèle) of Sainte-Anne, Paul (Rosa), Yvon (Rose-Marie) of Bouctouche and Maurice (Joanne) of Saint-Pierre. He was also cherished by several nephews and nieces.
A private funeral service was held at Centre Nouvelle Vie, Shediac Cape on Tuesday June 9, 2020 in accordance with the public health directives due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
