Ann G. Forcier wrote a sympathy message

“From Massachusetts and Rhode Island...condolences. Mr. MacDonald's heart-lifting covered bridge was a highlight of a visit my brother and I made to Bouctouche in 2010. We will never forget it. We still smile when we remember it. His whimsy made for a joy in our lives. Ann and Glenn Forcier”
