He was predeceased by: his wife Lucie Despres (Gallant); his parents, Frederick and Marie-Rose (Léger); and his siblings, Bernice, Alfreda, Oscar and Normand.

He is survived by: his sons, Maurice (Judy) of Saint-Thomas and Charles (Diane) of Leominster, MA; his grandchildren, Mathew, Corey, Amanda, Chantal, Jimmy and Nicole; his great grandchildren, Kayla, Paisley, Connor, Emerin and Bridgets; and his siblings, Yvonne Hébert of Grande-Digue, Rosemonde Dionne of Saint-Gregoire and Alyre (Marguerite) of Cocagne. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
