He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Stewart and Greta Stewart (Campbell); and his sister Annie Anderson (late Clifton). He is survived by: his wife Doreen Stewart (Hooper) of Blackville; his children, Jamie Gillespie (Rhonda) of Blackville, Jonathan Stewart of Moncton and Elsie Stewart of Blackville; his brother John Stewart (Darlene) of Blackville; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Caleb, Kayden, Oliver, Emma and Jaya. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northumberland Funeral Home (102 Pleasant St, Miramichi, NB E1V1X7). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
