With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Waunita Irene McGarrigle (Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick), born in Bocabec, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 22, 2020 at the age of 61. She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Charles McGarrigle of Blacks Harbour, NB; her parents, Richmond Leavitt and Violet Leavitt (Merchant); and her brothers, Roger Leavitt, Wayne Leavitt and Aaron Leavitt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda Johnston (Trevor) of Blacks Harbour, NB and Shelby McGarrigle of Blacks Harbour, NB; her grandchildren, Gabriel Johnston of Blacks Harbour, NB and Sophia Johnston of Blacks Harbour, NB; and her siblings, Francis Sinclair of Bocabec, NB, Patricia Blanchard (Bernard) of Bocabec, NB, Keith Leavitt (Amber) of Old Ridge, NB, Frankie Leavitt of St. Andrews, NB, Arnold Leavitt of Chamcook, NB and Perry Leavitt (Carolyn) of Oak Bay, NB. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association in Waunita's memory would be appreciated by the family.
